Getting older.

Doesn't it make you feel really old when they play shows on Nick at Nite that you swear were just on television? I remember as a kid, Nick at Nite played classic black and white shows like I Love Lucy. Now they play shows like Roseanne and Full House. Can those shows really be over a decade old? Was Full House always that awful? Watching the Olson kids "act" literally makes me ill-how was America ever captivated by dazed 3-year olds slurring the words "you got it, dude" while staring into space? On a related note, isn't it a bit depressing when you "fondly recall memories of your youth" when VH1 classic plays music videos?

By fondly recalling memories of your youth, you must be referring to the Devo video "whip it" which pretty much summed up my adolescent social life between myself and "the scary uncle." Am I alone on this?

i'm sorry call me crazy but those olsen twins saying "you got it dude" still make me smile. and "step on me" was also a great line from that show... which i still find amusing as my sister's name is stephanie. i wish we could go back to the days of the tanners... when life's mistakes were just lessons to be learned and you didn't need blood and gore to entertain the youth of america. you know you're old when you starting saying shit like that. oh well.

having more than one father while living in san fran is hardly that far from reality. a little ahead of its times maybe, unrealistic, not so much. anyone who wants to set that family on fire is sick in the head. i mean i'd watch it all go down and then blame it on kimmy, but still...

kimmy gibler was quite possibly the most annoying person on the planet. on a side note, during his recent standup show, bob saget claimed to have banged her. for some strange reason, that seems quite probable.

nastyyy man, thats just a bad combo...

i think it was pretty unrealistic, in the fact that they had all these random problems and issues and then 'talked' it allll out and everything was peachy, haha cmon - those kids woulda got slapped atleast once or something!

The only realistic thing about that show was the hotel that Danny ran. That house would easily have been seven figures, so it makes sense that 19 adults, 28 kids, and 14 animals were living there at any one time.

Then I remember that Joey and Jesse were basically unemployed and I go back to my original childhood thoughts... They made man love and they made it often.

To be a noble charitable being is to from a kind of openness to the in the seventh heaven, an gift to guardianship aleatory things beyond your own control, that can front you to be shattered in hugely exceptional circumstances for which you were not to blame. That says something uncommonly weighty thither the prerequisite of the honest compulsion: that it is based on a trustworthiness in the unpredictable and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a shop than like a treasure, something somewhat feeble, but whose mere precise attractiveness is inseparable from that fragility.
